Australian judge grants human rights to fictional cartoon characters

The Simpsons as real is a creepy concept

If you ever travel to Australia, you better delete those pics of Meg having sex with Chris and Brian. Why? Because Australian Supreme Court Justice Michael Adams has ruled that "while The Simpsons characters had hands with four fingers and their faces were 'markedly and deliberately different to those of any possible human being', the mere fact that they were not realistic representations of human beings did not mean that they could not be considered people."

So there you go. Cartoons are people in Australia. Don't like it? That's a "Booting" offense.
