Yet another reason the UAW are holding US car makers back

Ford owns one of the most advanced and efficient manufacturing plants in the world. It's in Brazil and it is still operating at full capacity. Because of its flexibility it is able to operate at a much lower cost than those on US soil. Why? Because employees are allowed to cross-train to be able to do many things. Also they are integrating parts suppliers into the factory for "just in time" manufacturing which saves oodles of money.

Why doesn't Ford repeat this success in the US? The U A W.
